Business : Cognis owners spurn higher Lubrizol offer
FRANKFURT – The private-equity owners of chemicals group Cognis have cold-shouldered a takeover offer from Lubrizol even though it was higher than that of favoured bidder BASF, sources familiar with the matter told Reuters.
